Mosaic and Tile Source was founded in 2011 with the belief that anything should be able to be purchased online no matter how big, heavy, or fragile the item was. We chose mosaic tiles, because we wanted to emulate the in-store shopping experience online. Imagine living in a small town and going to a tile shop with a limited collection of mosaics, then having to cart those heavy tiles up 3 flight of steps, then you run short and dash off to the shop, only to find out that the product is sold out. Our Story

Mosaic Source is a family-owned business that was founded in 2011 by our current CEO, James Mendes. While on a family vacation in Italy, he was intrigued by the beautiful mosaic tiles that he saw in the homes, hotels, churches, office environments and on the walkways.

After returning to his home in Canada James wanted to globalize the beauty of these designs. He now sources the highest quality mosaic tiles to enhance the elegance of your home, apartment, studio, or office environment.
